Hooray for Spring Weather

This week was an eventful one. Tuesday, Cal and I went to Ben and Jerry’s free scope day with Emilie, Charlie and some other mommies and baby boys. On Wednesday Ian went to a conference in Vancouver so Callahan and I headed over to Wenatchee with the dogs. There we visited Gram at her school and Cal was showered with attention from all of Gram’s work friends. He even got mauled by a bunch of 3rd graders so when we got home I disinfected him. Cal spent time with his cousins, Luke and Logan, who gave him a bunch of fun new toys like two Tickle Me Elmos. Cal went to his first parade (it was Apple Blossom), laid out in the sun, felt grass on his feet for the first time, and did a lot of smiling for Gram and Pop.

We came back to Seattle on Saturday and went to dinner at Emilie and Brett’s. Cal got to hang out with his friend Charlie before he went to bed and Charlie even let Cal use his jumper toy while we ate dinner, which Cal loved! Today (Sunday), we all slept in until 8:30 and then spend pretty much all day working outside because it was so nice outside.

For those who lost count, Callahan is 12 weeks old tomorrow!
