Forgot to mention

We forgot to mention the cutest thing that Callahan did the other night. He was sleeping in my arms on the couch and he had a laughing attack in his sleep. He was laughing so hard Ian thought he was crying since he couldn't initially see his face and didn't see his huge smile. It was hilarious and seriously the cutest thing ever! We're both a little perplexed about what he was dreaming out because neither one of us have heard him laugh like that before.

Tiring Weekend

We had another eventful weekend. We went to Joe and Gina’s baby shower/BBQ on Saturday where Cal got to meet lots of new people and was showered with attention. He also rubbed Gina’s belly to try and get Hailey to come out a little early. Of course he put on a show and was in a great mood for five hours without a nap!

Cal is becoming a seasoned Mariners fan catching another game today. This time it was the three of us at the game and we had a great time, even getting sprinkled with a little rain before the roof closed didn’t dampen the spirits. Cal lasted through the entire game, taking a small catnap in the 4th-6th innings. He even got a t-shirt since it was a kid’s day at Safeco.

We were all so wiped from the weekend that we came home and took a nap and Cal is still out!

Go Mariners

Cal went to his first Mariners game last night! We went to the game with the Burdos (who are due to have a baby boy in the next couple of weeks!). All the crowd cheering made him so tired. Here are some pictures from the game and a couple other random pics.

Some new pics

Here are some new pics of Cal. He got a Bumbo chair this weekend and so far seems to like it. We were planning on going to the Spring Fair in Puyallup this weekend but the snow and cold weather put a little damper on those plans.

Here's a testament to how much our lives have changed since having Callahan, we were looking to get out of the house tonight (Saturday night) so we went to Target for fun...

Busy Weekend

We had an eventful and fun weekend! On Friday night, Jenni and the family were in town and we hung out with Luke and Logan while Jenni and Lars saw the Dalai Lama. On Saturday, after meeting up with Jenni and the family we tried to spend as much time outside as possible since the weather was so nice. We worked on the yard and the flowerbeds, set up Suzie’s pool and drank a Corona in the sun. Cal was a little under the weather and being outside seemed to be the only thing that perked him up.

On Sunday morning we woke up and drove over to Pullman where mom and me went to the Elton John concert, which was unbelievable, and we had AMAZING seats. While we were at the concert Ian took Cal to meet his Great Grandma and Grandpa Weber. Here are some pics from the weekend.

2 Months Old!

Cal had his two-month check-up yesterday and it’s official, he’s huge. He weighs 14 lbs. 8 oz. putting him in the 97th percentile and he’s 25 inches long (98%). He apparently loves going to the doctor because every time we’re there he is so good and so happy. He even got several shots and only cried for a sec. His pediatrician was so impressed with his development including his head control, hand/mouth coordination, etc. Ian and I placed dibs on Cal’s weight and height before the appointment and I hit both exactly, I guess it’s the motherly instinct.

Cal is “talking” (a.k.a. cooing) a lot and we’re going to try to record it and post it on the blog, it’s adorable. It’s like he’s having a conversation with us cause we say something and he responds. One of his sounds, sounds exactly like he’s saying “hi.” He’s also started imitating me, I stick out my tongue and then he does it, over and over. Not the best thing to teach him but again, it’s so cute.

Tomorrow Cal is making his first trip over to his future college, WSU!! Mom and I are going to see Elton John while Ian and Cal go visit Great Grandma & Grandpa Weber.

We plan to spend some time outside today to enjoy the great weather and will take and post more pics in the next day or so.

Almost 8 weeks (just shy of a day)

Callahan is eight weeks old tomorrow! We go for his two-month check-up on Friday and are very curious to find out how much the big guy weighs. He continues to eat all the time, about every two hours, and is growing like crazy. He is even wearing size 2 diapers now. Cals' almost completely outgrown all of his 0-3 month clothes, his hair/fuzz is starting to fill in and grow and his baby acne has almost vanished, woohoo!

Fun at Gram & Pop's

As promised Ian, here are some new pics.

We came over to Wenatchee last weekend and Cal and I spent a couple extra days in Wenatchee with the family since Gram is on Spring Break and Pop took part of the week off. Here are some pics from our time in Wenatchee. Ian is anxiously awaiting for us to come home. He thought he would use the couple nights away from us to catch up on sleep however realized that after having a son his sleep habits have forever changed and a "good night sleep" is a thing of the past.
