A Day to Remeber.

The boys were baptized last Sunday and it was such a special day. The baptism took place during the Sunday morning mass which was a beautiful service, and we were surrounded by the love of all of our family. The boys are so blessed to have such wonderful Godparents, Jenni as Cal's Godmother and Amy & Jason as Bennett's Godparents. We know spiritually they are in good hands.

A BIG thank you to Rick for being our photographer for the day!

Sleeping pretty.

Oh, how I love my night time snuggles with my little lady...

Look who got a makeover!

Suzie got her first hair cut/shave last week & in hindsight it was about 6 years overdue. When I picked her up from the groomers I couldn't believe my eyes. It was like I was taking home a new puppy dog. She looked and was acting about 5 years younger, not to mention she looks like she lost 10 pounds.  We've always thought she had a ridiculous amount of hair but the groomer confirmed it when they said they've never done a pug with so much hair.

#1 Dad

A well deserved title for my honey after last weekend.  Ian played Mr. Mom all weekend while I was off on a girls shopping trip with a good friend and my sista on Saturday, and then he was back at it on Sunday while I working hard for my money...

First up for the boy's weekend, a backyard campout (for the life of me I can't get this pic to upload the right way...)
Next up, a hike up to Lake Clara
got to have the walking stick...
And finally I was able to join in on the Dad's Day fun and we met up with the whole fam on Sunday to celebrate my Dad (who's the best!) & Ian.

Schools out for summer!

Cal had his last day of school last Thursday and he's already asked about 385 times if he can 'go to school today.' Trying to explain the concept of summer break to a 4 year old is no easy feat. Anyway, looking back on the year, it was awesome. I couldn't have a more full heart when it comes to St. Joe's - it's wonderful. It's such an awesome group of kids (& parents) and the preschool teacher is amazing.

On the second to last day of school, all the parents came in to see the kiddos put on a little show of some of the songs they've been singing all year.  So fun.

And the last day was the grand preschool party in the park. It doesn't get much better than train rides, parachutes, pinatas & popsicles with your best buds.
