Museum fun

We met up with the Hintons at the Everrett Chrildren's Museum this weekend, and fortunately Gina brought her camera since ours is in the shop...again (thx Gina!). The kids had a blast, we had a blast and we topped off the night with bottomless salads and breadsticks at Olive Garden (yum).

The majority of the time Cal won't give me the time of day anymore to stop and smile for a pic. Other times, he totally turns it on for the camera and can't wait for me to take his pic so he can look through the pics on the back screen of the camera.

I conquered my fear and let Cal do some finger painting at home (he does it all the time at school). I was freaked out that the end result would be colorful hand prints up and down the walls, on the dogs, you name it, but we actually fared pretty well and the majority of the paint stayed on the paper.

We finally made it to Teriann & Jane's annual Halloween party and Cal got to spend some time with his lady friend, Hailey love was definitely in the air playing dress up with dad cooking is so much fun!

And he's off.... We went out trick-or-treating with a big group of kids and Mr. Independent wanted nothing to do with me and insisted on carrying his own bag the entire time (dragging it the last block).

Fall is in full force

Which means...

it's not crop-top weather anymore.

hunting season is in full force (the guys heading out for elk hunting) leaves are a pain to rake but so much fun to play in. it's time to start watching the lb's before the holidays.
