After such a awesome day, we spent the evening BBQ'ing & playing at the park with friends. 

Spring!

The sun has been shining almost everyday and the temps have been between 60-70 degrees.... hooray for Spring. It's been good to us so far and we're embracing it with getting outside every chance that we get. I just love this time of year in Wenatchee.

We are Wenatchee

We love living in Wenatchee so much. It's the best feeling, feeling so content and happy with where we choose to settle with our family and to know that we want to be here for the long haul.  He's a look at what makes our valley so awesome.

7 months!

I can't believe Baby Girl is 7 months old today. It just sounds so much older than 6 months... She's so fun, such a ray of sunshine and her little personality is awesome. Here's what Emmie's up to at 7 months... She's starting to get up on all fours and crawl a little, she's got 6 teeth (her top 4 & bottom 2), she's hasn't met a fruit or veggie she doesn't like, she's eating Puff crackers & Mum Mum and loves them, she grinds her teeth and it sounds horrible, her brothers make her SO happy, she loves watching the dogs, she loves her jumper, she sucks on her toes any chance she gets, she puts everything in her mouth, her voice is extremely high pitched and she loves to "sing" in joy (hence her nickname "the screaming eagle"), she's still getting up once a night for a small feeding around 3 a.m., she's a pretty good little napper usually taking 3/day and I think that's all I have for right now...

Bennett's follow-up

Bennett had is 3 month follow-up with the pediatric cardiologist from Children's last Thursday & it was such a relief to get the news we were hoping for. His latest echocardiogram came back good, showing no visible damage to his heart from the illness, and his doctor was pleased with his recovery. Next check-up is in a year.

Bring on the Tooth Fairy

After months of wiggling & days of a dangling tooth, Cal finally pulled his first tooth out while we were in the car driving home from Winthrop. The tooth needed to come out, so we might have done a little Lego bride to talk him into pulling it, and sure enough it worked and he yanked it out. So the Tooth Fairy paid her first visit to the Hunter House Friday night.
