9 Months

Our little man is 9 months today! I say “little man” cause this is really what he is becoming more and more every day – his baby characteristics are turning into little boy traits.

Some updates on Cal: he thinks clapping his hands is so funny, loves giving high fives, loves when we cheer for him and clap our hands, prefers standing over sitting, peek-a-boo is his favorite game, loves when mommy sings funny songs (i.e. wheels on the bus), Suzie is his best friend, tries to roll and wiggle away during diaper changes, he toots a lot, has 6 teeth, he’s the happiest little kid I’ve ever seen, loves his mom and dad very much, is extremely ticklish – you barely have to touch him to make him double over with laughter, his two favorite words are “dada” and “gee”, absolutely loves taking a bath and splashing, loves fruit and finger foods that he can feed himself, is very observant and loves to talk.

What a day!

Cal's 5th tooth broke through. Hallelujah for no more fangs... although they are pretty funny (if you haven't seen Cal recently, his top two fang teeth came in before his front middle teeth). He started clapping today and gets super excited every time he claps, which is all the time. And he *started* waving (his wave still needs some work).

Here's a little taste of Cal's dancing, clapping and giving high 5's (which he LOVES).

Cal's practicing his strokes in the bathtub in preparation for Hawaii. He gets completely nutty in the bath (in a good way) and wanted to play/splash around on his tummy in the bath last night.
