We did something a little different for our anniversary this year (#9!) and wanted to hike into Colchuck Lake back in May. We've been itching to hike to this alpine gem for a couple years but knew our hiking warrior kiddos likely wouldn't make it all the way in. So my folks took the kids for the day & night and we enjoyed a full day of hiking, food and drinks with good friends. It was the perfect day.
