8 months already?!?

Cal hit 8 months on Saturday. Such an amazing age (I say this every month). Some updates on the big guy: he now has 3 teeth (#4 is on the way), he's still huge, he loves giving hugs, favorite food is fruit and all finger foods that he can feed himself, his favorite game is peek-a-boo - he puts everything over his face, he's still not crawling but manages to get around (I think he'll go straight to walking), absolutely loves dogs, loves baths, hates getting boogies sucked out of his noses, thinks it's so cool to stand on his own and is starting to walk if we're holding his hands. There's something new everyday but this is all I can think of at the moment.

We were in Wenatchee this weekend packing up 30 years worth of stuff at Gram & Pops since they're moving. We were so busy that I took very few pics.

What happened to my sweet baby that used to just lay there?

Cal's not even crawling yet, but he manages to get into everything. Things I have pulled out of Callahan's mouth today:
  • the rug
  • one of my flip flops
  • a sheet of return address labels
  • a new debit card

He managed to get into all of these things while I WAS watching him... He never leaves my side but somehow gets into everything the second I turn my head. Let the baby proofing begin.

pumpkin patch

We went to a pumpkin patch/u-pick farm and despite getting pored on, we had a blast. One of the many benefits of having a kid is getting to go to places like this. We might just have to hit it again (sans the rain) to get more pumpkins.
