Bennett's latest check-up

Bennett had another check-up yesterday to make sure his recovery is going as planned and for another blood draw to check that his platelet count and some other makers of the disease present in the blood test were returning to normal.  We got just the news we were hoping for... Aside from a still slightly elevated sedimentation rate, everything looks great. Such a blessing. Next up, another meeting with the pediatric cardiologist and an echo & EKG in a couple months.

This boy took his blood draws like a total champ. Not a single complaint or tear shed, so of course ice cream for lunch was a well deserved reward.
