And that's a soccer wrap.

We finished up the spring soccer season earlier this month and it was such a good season. I just wish it would have been a little longer. Cal had the best time and really got into the soccer groove the last several games. Until fall soccer...

Apple blossom

Good weather, friends, BBQ's, parades, happy kids... Apple Blossom treated us well. We kicked off the festival with the kiddy parade. Both boys were in the parade this year with the school and they seriously had the BEST time (so did I :)

The kids dressed up as what they want to be when they grow-up. Surprise, surprise.... football players.

The following weekend we went with a group of friends to watch the Grand Parade. It's the first time since moving back that I've been able to talk Ian into going.

Spring soccer

I have a bit of a competitive side, so of course I love all things sports when it comes to the kids. The plan was for Cal to plan baseball this spring but since he couldn't play up in the pitch machine division (it would have been another year of t-ball), we ended up doing spring soccer. Initially I was bummed cause he had such a great time playing baseball last year, however I'm so happy we ended up doing soccer. It was same team that he played on in the fall (they are so good) and he just loves it, the group of kids are awesome and so is the coach. The last couple games he's really stepped it up on the field and has been a scoring machine.
