Sausage time.

535 lbs. of sausage. Lots of family. Lots of fun. And an added bonus to the weekend, Ian's sister's family was in town for the first time in years for Sausage Fest and the cousins had a blast with each other.

parks, parks & more parks this week. I had big hopes of getting some nagging house projects done over spring break, but we opted to play everyday instead

and the boys decided to be best buds again making me one happy mamma... even if it meant moving all their toys into my bathroom to play 'parking garage'

the sun was shining today so outside we went on a hike up Saddlerock. I swear, Cal is the ultimate 4 year old hiker. This kid's endurance is insane and he does it all without a single complaint.

21 months.

This guy has been giving me a run for my money the past week.... He's been a bit on the ornery side, a little clingy, tantrums are becoming more frequent & we're working on a couple mommy attachment issues that just showed up. What happened to my sweet little boy?! Well, I just keep reminding myself that this too shall pass, it's hopefully a phase.  The crazy thing is, when it's just me and him, he couldn't be more pleasant. He relishes in his 'only-child' time.

But, regardless of the day or mood, the slate is wiped clean the second I check on him at night and I see that cute little rump up in the air and his sweet little crossed legs.

Good thing we got a new ottoman, cause the kids didn't have enough toys of their own to play in/with. So far it's been a hot tub, boat, parking garage & a mountain.
